Bio
Hello! My name is Mrs. Arleshia Lane Turner, and I am so excited for another year at PJHS. I grew up in Troy, Alabama, and I graduated from Goshen High School. I later attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Later, I earned my Master's in Biology Education from Faulkner University. Education has always been my passion, and I come from a family of educators. I am now starting my 23rd year in education. Before coming to PJHS, I taught Science for 2 years at Pike County High School in Brundidge, Alabama. After leaving Pike County, I taught Science for 12 years at Billingsley High School, and 8 years at The Second Chance School. I currently live in Prattville with my wonderful husband, Dr. Noah J. Turner, and our 15-year-old outgoing son, Noah Jr. We attend First Missionary Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church of Troy, where I am the church musician for both churches. I love spending time with my family. I look forward to an exciting year! It’s GREAT to be part of the Cat Family!
